Seeing this face was all I needed! Maj brightened my day so much ya’ll! When he was laid in that hospital fighting for his life, I was right there with him. I hated leaving him but school had started back and I had to be there. The thing is I really wanted to quit and move up there with him to help him out. My mama wasn’t having that by any means so I was given the opportunity to go up there on weekends. During his recovery, I got to video chat with him during the week and two weekends out the month I took trips to Darrin’s to see him. Him being here today was a total surprise though! I wanted to smack him for even being down here this soon after surgery because I knew he wasn’t healed all the way. As much as I did want to tear into him about his trip down here, I was super excited. So I did the only thing I could and gave him the biggest, juiciest kiss I could muster up. That nigga Quez could have a front row seat at what he had just done because rather than push me and Maj apart, he pushed us closer together!

When Quez approached me, I was pissed. He had messed up a good conversation between Shae, Rachelle, and I. Then to top it off, he wanted to go down memory lane. At least when you talking about memories ya’ll, talk about good memories. This fool brought up him cheating on me and shit. Like really nigga? You expect me to leave a good situation to come back to your immature ass? He was stupid and I was glad to be rid of him. I wasn’t stupid by any means and I already knew it wasn’t me he wanted, it was the win. Jaquez was competitive and he looked at this situation with Maj as a competition. The thing about it was that he would be the inevitable loser because I would never open my legs to his ass again, let alone get in a relationship with him. I had learned that lesson the hard way. Now that I trusted myself around Quez without fear of him talking me out of my panties, he could forget any kind of relationship. That part of my life was over with!

As Maj and I drove to the Bull, we talked until we heard our song come on the radio. We both loved Into You by Fabolous featuring Tamia from his Street Dreams album. The part we both loved was ‘how would you like it if, both of our names had Jackson on the end’! Every time it came on, Maj and I would both rap along with Fabolous because we both had aspirations of getting married and making me a Jackson. While we were listening along and I was singing Tamia’s part, we continued to talk.

He did look much better than the last time I had seen him which was close to three weeks ago.
